Gronk Out Week One

This is literally the worst case scenario for the New England Patriots as they enter their season debut against an elite Cardinals team this Sunday night. With an inexperienced Jimmy G about to make the first regular season start of his career, he will be without his most lethal weapon of Rob Gronkowski. I had hope before the news of his hamstring injury that he would be able to make the game at least close against Bruce Arian's defense, but now i do not have much hope at all. Do not get me wrong, I know he still has other options at his helm with guys like Julian Edelman but he is not going to be enough to stop a team with top ten rankings on both sides of the field. Acquiring Martellus Bennett from the Bears via trade this summer was definitely a smart move for New England. Gronk is always getting fucking injured, i feel like he at least misses 3 games a season and a guy like Bennett is a starting caliber tight end. I just dont think those two weapons will be able to stop the Cardinals. Personally, i think the birds have a chance to win the super bowl this year, Carson Palmer will not be playing elite football much longer so he has to make due with the stacked deck in front of him. I think this Sunday night is going to be a beat down for the ages, and my score prediction is 28-7 Cardinals. Sorry Patriots fans, but this is not going to be your week, you better hope Tom Brady is getting angry on those sidelines.
