by DjackJets fans can finally exhale, Ryan Fitzpatrick will be under center in 2016 for Gang Green. For most this comes as no surprise, the summer long stalemate finally comes to an end, Fitzpatrick walks away with a healthy 12 million, and everyone's happy... Right? Well, Ryan Fitzpatrick did just come off his best season ever so I can see why Jets fans are happy to have him back, along with the fact that their other Quarterback options weren't feasible. The ceiling of Ryan Fitzpatrick has been reached, and that's not a very high ceiling in comparison to elite QB's.The Jets may very well find a way to snag a wildcard spot and get back to the playoffs for the first time since the "Sanchize Era", but the play of the Quarterback (Fitzpatrick) will dictate how far they go and that's where you reach the sad reality of the situation. This is the same guy that couldn't get it done against a below average Buffalo Bills team, he can't win in big games, he cant make the big throws, and hes not going to win the big playoff games. Sorry Jets fans, enjoy this moment because when the season starts and you remember who Fitzpatrick is as a quarterback, you're going to be chanting for Hackenberg.

For once in their history, the National Football League and the devil that is Roger Godell made a good decision. Josh Gordon is back, well, kinda. Although he will miss the Browns first 4 regular season games, he will finally be able to resume what should be a legacy in the making. I will not get started on my thoughts of the NFL's rules on marijuana use, they are stupid to say the least. This man Gordon though really needs to stay off the Ganj and focus on proving the fuckers that have kept him off the field that he means business. Now that Johnny Loser is out of Cleveland, he wont have that devil over his shoulder trying to get him to smoke or drink any long.. at least very obviously. He is reportedly on "thin ice" with his staff in Cleveland, which i cannot blame them for, so he better be on his best behavior and work his ass off. As long as he stays clean, Hue Jackson should not even have to think twice about making Gordon the the number 1 target for new quarterback RGIII. I mean all the really have are Andrew "i've supposed to breakout the last 4 years" Hawkins, and a few wide receivers they drafted this year, so Gordon will look like a God compared to them. Small steps Cleveland, small steps....
I have been waiting patiently for a team to wise up and take the chance on Arian Foster. I love this guy and think he can flat out play, and can run and catch the ball out of the backfield up there with the best RB's in the NFL. He has battled injuries through his career, along with adversity of being undrafted, and being stuck on a failing Texans franchise.
Since 2010, the runningback who leads the NFL in total yards from scrimmage per game? Not AP, not Le'Veon, that's right - Arian. Foster averages 119.9 yards from scrimmage per game, with Bell avg 119 & AP avg 112.1 yards. The stats and film won't lie on Foster and we know a healthy Arian can play with the best, but will injury plague him again? Obviously there's no way to say for sure but as someone who follows Arian all over social media, he looks strong physically and mentally to me. The Dolphins have a high ceiling and after falling tremendously short last season, they've tried to fill some holes on the offensive line, made some good resignings, and more importantly by picking up Arian, replaced the versatile Lamarr Miller who, coincidently went to the Texans, the expectations will once again be high. Tannehill will have to play up to his contract $$, Landy & Parker are very talented young stars, Arian is a strong veteran, if Tunsil can not smoke weed on national TV on gamedays, and if Suh can stop being a selfish asshole, expect the Fins to give the AFC Wild Card a good run for its money. - Muk by DjackDan Graziano, New York Giants reporter- “The NFC East hasn’t had a repeat champion since the 2003-04 Eagles, and that’s not changing this year. Dallas comes roaring back from last year’s pothole and edges out defending champion Washington in a tight two-way race. But for the first time since 2009, two teams from this division reach the playoffs. Washington shows that last year wasn’t a total fluke and snags a wild-card spot.”
Todd Archer, Dallas Cowboys reporter- “There has not been a repeat division winner in the NFC East since the 2003-04 Eagles, so that would seem to rule out the Redskins. The Eagles and Giants have new head coaches, and they sometimes need time to find their footing. That leaves the Cowboys. They are not your typical 4-12 team. Tony Romo is healthy. Dez Bryant is healthy. They drafted Ezekiel Elliott. They have the best offensive line in the division. There are several defensive questions, but the offense can negate many of the defensive inefficiencies. The Cowboys won the division in 2014 with that formula, and they will do it again.” The NFC East apparently will never have a repeat champion ever again according to these bozos. I agree with Dan, I don’t think that’ll change this year, but if you’re basing your argument off that just quit now. I don’t agree with Dan saying, that it’ll be a two team race and neither of those teams will be the Giants. That’s what set me off. How are you going to rule out a team that had a top 10 offense last year, which has only improved on paper, and a defense that has just upgraded at basically every position this offseason. Dan I’ll be throwing this back in your face come January but you’re a Giants guy so I won’t be too hard on you. Todd Archer on the other hand… I’m about to rip him a new one. “ The offense can negate many of the defensive inefficiencies.” Archer said about the Cowboys. Ask the Giants how that worked for them last year Todd, you moron. “Defense wins championships” Ray Lewis said it best, the Giants would of cruised to NFC east title last year if they played any defense whatsoever. The Giants blew the most games in the last two minutes of a game I’ve ever seen. If you can’t make stops you can’t win it’s that simple, the Giants proved that theory last year. The Cowboys are going to have 0 pass rush while Randy Gregory and Demarcus Lawrence are suspended the first four games for being scumbag cowboy players per usual expectation. The Cowboys defense this year might be worse than the Giants defense last year that’s the reason I have the Cowboys going 8-8. The Redskins suck they always have they always will, they have that one good year every 7 or so, therefore I have them going 7-9 coming back to earth this season. The Eagles, do I even need to bring up the most pathetic team in the division? I’ll do Philly fans a favor and just not even give my prediction on that joke of a franchise. Finally, your 2016 NFC East champions, the New York Football Giants. The Giants are going to improve on both sides of the ball this year after upgrades in free agency and adding depth through the draft. Ben McAdoo is going to be an excellent head coach and the offense is going to keep reaching new heights and with the newly bolstered defense the GMEN achieve a 10-6 record. History says if the Giants make the playoffs we know anything is possible with Eli Manning at QB working his postseason magic. |
