By DjackGiants grinded one out today across the Atlantic against a Rams team that has played most of their competition very tough this season. I had to wake up 9:30 to watch this game and boy do I wish I just kept on sleeping because this game was one of the most boring football games I've seen in quite sometime. Giants offense continued to struggle, we saw glimmers of hope last week against the Ravens in the second half, but we were unable to build off that today. This game saw 15 punts, I know they like kicking their balls in Europe, but I don't think they came to our NFL game to watch the punters get a ton of action. At one point there was 9 possesions that ended with punts in a row, good thing our defense came to play because the Rams defense was having no problem shutting us down. Our $100 million defense won us this game, they had 4 interceptions, and scored 7 points for us. They shut down the Rams offense, I know that isn't saying much, but our pass rush was actually present today, and we were able to get turnovers because of it. Landon Collins continues to improve week after week, he was laying the wood on all the Rams receivers early in this game, he'd sit 5 yards back, and prey on the receivers like he was a hawk going after a field mouse. This led to him being in the right place at the right time today like great players typically are, on two separate occasions a ball was deflected into the air, and Collins was able to pick them both off. The first one he picked off he caught and he looked like he would get 5 to 10 yards on the return since he was surrounded by Ram players. Boy this must've been Chris Berman's dream because the sound effects needed for this return would've been nonstop, I'm pretty sure Landon Collins juked out 4 guys, ran past 3, and ran through another 3 on his way to getting a touchdown. That pick six would tie the game up at 10 a piece, that would be the majority of the scoring in this game as the second half was a real shit show. Landon Collins picked up his second interception of the game in the fourth quarter, he wouldn't bring this one to the crib, but it would lead to a score by the Giants offense. All touchdowns in this game were scored off turnovers, even the Rams early touchdown came after they recovered a Giants fumble, just goes to show you why protecting the Duke is so important. Odell had a quiet day, no antics to bring attention to him which I like to see, but he did come up with a huge grab on the Giants game winning scoring drive. He went up in between two defenders and came down with the ball like a true superstar receiver does. Case Keenum would end up throwing three interceptions on the last three possessions of the game as the Giants went on to pick up there 4th win of the season bringing us to 4-3 on the season. I don't care how ugly the wins are, they look real pretty on paper, so just keep em coming G-Men! #BleedBlue
