By DjackThe four team's that'd be in the CFB playoffs if the season ended today: 1. Alabama Obvious clear cut #1 in the nation right here, this spot was not even up for debate, the committee just started with #2 because it was already consensus in the room that Alabama is the best team in the nation. I'll honestly be stunned if Bama doesn't win it all this year, this is the most dominant Bama team I've ever seen and they're finally getting great play from the quarterback position so this could potentially be the best Nick Saban Alabama team ever. 2.Clemson Deshaun Watson revenge tour is off to a perfect start and a Clemson Bama rematch looks more and more likely with every passing week. Clemson has shown they are a great football team on both sides of the ball. They have one of the best players in all of college football leading there team so I like there chances to make it to the big game. I'd say Clemson is basically a shoe in for the CFB playoff barring any major injuries. 3. Michigan Michigan continues to decimate every opponent put in front of them, the Wolverines have one thing standing in between them and the CFB playoff, the Ohio State Buckeyes. If the Wolverines win that game they'll get into the playoff, if not it'll be another season that ends in heartbreak, and there's nothing that would make me happier. 4. Texas A&M I was a little shocked to see Texas A&M in the playoff picture already, they've had one of the hardest schedules in all of college football, and their one loss is to the best team in college football so I guess it's reasonable. If the season ended today they'd be in, good thing it doesn't because I think A&M has frankly played over their heads and will not even end up in the top 10 of the polls by the time this season ends. Enjoy being in the playoff picture now Aggies because in a few short weeks all hopes will be demolished. The two teams on the outside looking in: 5. Washington Undefeated Washington continues to get no respect despite crushing whoever has stepped in their path. Classic CFB move to screw over Chris Petersen, they did it for years when he was at Boise state going undefeated and they wouldn't let him play in the big game, now they're doing it even though he's in a power 5 conference. Washington is a well coached team with a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way, I believe Washington will be in one of the top four spots by the end of the year, and Petersen will finally get his chance to reach the paramount of college football. 6. Ohio State
The Buckeyes have struggled in recent weeks against teams that they should not be struggling against, does this worry me as a Buckeye fan, a little bit, but I know we have plenty of talent, and that this is just a little rough patch we're going through. Only thing keeping us from a playoff spot is the Michigan Wolverines, if we win that game we're in, if we lose, it's another season that ends in disappointment for Urban Meyers, the Buckeyes, and me.
