By DjackPut all the protesting aside, put all the social movements on hold, it was finally time for Colin Kaepernick to play football. Kaepernick has kept his name relevant around the league, not in part to his once electric play style, but because of his National Anthem protest. He'd once again take a knee during the anthem as fans shouted all sorts of remarks at him throughout the course of the game. I can only speak for myself when I say this, but I was more interested in watching this game to see if Kaepernick could still ball out or not, than watching it just to shit on him. Fans say Kaepernick is the reason that ratings are going down, I laugh when I hear stupid remarks like that, every sports media outlet has been talking about this controversy for 2 months now, he's attracting people if anything because they either want to watch him fail or just see if he continues to protest. Everyone wants to weigh in on the Kaepernick debate, he's not hurting the ratings whatsoever, that's all Trump baby. Anyways, football was played on Sunday, Kaepernick was the starter for the first time in about a year, and he did what I thought was a sufficient job. I'm not going to say he blew my mind with the way he played, but he did a hell of a lot better than Blaine Gabbert. He averaged over 1 more yard per attempt than Gabbert did in his last start, Kaepernick also lead the 49ers in rushing, and he didn't commit any turnovers, something Gabbert failed to do in his last 4 starts. Kaepernick was basically the only offense the 49ers had, could he have been more accurate passing the ball, of course, but he's obviously still shaking off some cob webs since he hasn't thrown much at all in the last 6 months. The Bills offense also didn't give Kaepernick much of a chance to have successs since they dominated time of posssesion, possessing the ball for 10 more minutes than the 49ers offense, and Kaepernick had to play from behind all game
since his defense couldn't make a stop.49ers defense should be ashamed of themselves, they allowed a Bills offense that has been relatively bad since forever put up 45 points. 49er fans need to look elsewhere for answers because QB position is not the biggest problem this team has right now.
