When I heard JJ Watt say " I've never missed a game and I don't plan on missing one now" I knew he'd be ready for week 1. Well yesterday he was cleared to return to practice, some players might need a little time to get back in the rhythm of things, but of course we know JJ Watt isn't one of those guys. As long as JJ is on the field in pads, he's making a huge difference just with his presence on the field. If you thought JJ Watt was good last season, you haven't seen shit yet, he could barely walk at the end of last season that's how torn up his body was. Coming of multiple surgeries to repair multiple injuries, with sufficient time to rehab them, he should be feeling like a new man. If he wasn't able to play week 1, it would've been a huge blow to this Texans defense that thrives off of his energy. Jadevon Clowney's life will be made much easier with Watt attracting a double team for 95% of the snaps all game. Hopefully he can start making JJ's life easier by being the player he was supposed to be out of college. Anyway, this dude is a superior athlete, when the news about his most recent surgery was heard, everyone thought he'd be out at minimum 1-2 weeks to start the season. Watt proved all the medical personnel wrong though, showing that he truly is super human, and that he can rejuvenate his body back to health at will. Bill O'Brian is the happiest man of all though because he knows that without JJ his team isn't getting any wins.
