I’m currently writing this in the 7th inning of tonight’s game knowing damn well no runs DMC will be able to hold this 3-1 lead. The Yanks walk away from this series with one win, along with no answers regarding the organizations trade deadline ambitions. One day we look like a playoff team the next we look hopeless, so I can see why the front office is hesitant to make moves so quickly. With two weeks till the trade deadline let’s pray the Yanks can either start winning or losing more consistently so the decision becomes clear for the front office. I’ll never rout for my team to lose, but if that’s what it takes to become sellers at the deadline let’s just say, I wouldn’t be too upset with a losing streak. Hal Steinbrenner needs to let Cashman sell away his assets, that are of high value, now so we can gear up and get ready to start making a world series run with a younger core of players.
