By UppyOMG OMG OMG. I can't believe he might do it! Ok so it's not official yet, but ESPN tells me (through ESPN alerts) that the Braves have definite interest in signing the 29 year old phenom. While the contracts haven't been signed, we know what this means- Tim Tebow is going to have a legitimate shot at playing professional baseball. And to be honest, is anyone surprised? It's Tim Tebow, the second coming of Jesus Christ (assuming JC also couldn't throw a football more than 20 yards downfield). Of course Tebow was gonna get signed by someone. Hell the Rangers drafted Russell Wilson while he was currently playing for the Seahawks and fresh off a Super Bowl victory. I'm pretty sure Johnny Manziel got drafted out of college even after never playing baseball, although he was actually listed on the Texas A&M roster as a short stop somehow. But Tebow brings things to the table that those guys don't. While he is equal to Manziel in current football playing time and equal with Russell in their love of the man upstairs, Big Time Timmy Jim knows how to lead a team. And I'll put my life savings on the line that whatever single A rookie ball team Timmy winds up on will win their respective league/conference/participation ribbon. If Tebow can take the Broncos to the Playoffs, he can turn the Carolina Mudcats into Advanced A ball champions. Let's go Timmy. Uppy is rooting for you. And if you make me look foolish, if you mess with my nut, Randy here is gonna eat your dick! If there's one thing we know Tebow will do for a certainty, he will make whatever minor league team he lands on a fortune. Sellouts all season.
