Mets World Series Hopes?

This was supposed to be the year. The mets, fresh off their first 2015 NL pennant since 2000 were thought by many to be world series favorites backed behind there amazing pitching staff. The expectations were even higher after the signing of fan favorite Yoenis Cespedes who carried the mets to the playoffs. Of course, as usual everything went to shit. The mets have been demolished by the injury bug to the point where its almost painful to watch. Lucas Duda,  Travis d'darno, Juan Laggares, have all been on the disabled list. The "Dark Knight" Matt harvey, who was being hyped up by the mets staff as being on track to have a CY Young season just had season ending shoulder surgery after a subpar first half. David Wright who hasn't been healthy since the Vietnam war had season ending surgery on his neck. The question i ask all Mets fans is, What the fuck did you expect? Its the New york mets and nothing ever goes right for them. They sit at 6 games out of first at the all star break and will need a lot more offense if there gonna win the division. Although they are currently in a wild card spot, the pirates, marlins and cardinals are right on their ass. Most people are very skeptical that the mets can get to the world series again, and I'm one of them. Only time will tell.
