By Djack Via Espn Clayton Kershaw is supposed to throw off a mound for the first time in two months this Saturday. If you're a Dodgers fan, this should get you very excited for obvious reasons. With the Dodgers currently a half game ahead of the fading Giants, getting Kershaw back into the rotation could be the little surge they need to secure that NL West division title. He won't be back till early September since he has to make rehab starts in the minors before he makes his official comeback into the rotation. If the Dodgers want to have any shot in these upcoming playoffs they're going to need him and need that rubber arm to throw the most innings possible. People forget that this could almost be a blessing in disguise, its a back injury not an arm injury so his arm has been resting the last two months while ever other teams ace is wearing their arm out. A fresh Clayton Kershaw, is a very scary Clayton Kershaw and i wouldn't want to be the team that his to beat him twice if they want to advance. With a young rising superstar in Corey Seager, along with the best pitcher in baseball, Clayton Kershaw, the dodgers could prove to be a real threat in these upcoming playoffs. Now, if you're a Dodgers fan keep holding your breathe because Kershaw isn't back quite yet, but if he comes back 100% healthy it kind of looks like the perfect storm is brewing in Dodger country.
