By DjackMarco Estrada made it through six innings last night without allowing a hit. This was a west coast game so probably 99% of you were sleeping while this was going on, well we had another pitcher come up just short of that elusive no hitter. Estrada was untouchable through six, I thought he was finally going to be the guy to end this stretch of failed no hitters. The seventh inning rolled around, and what do you know, Robinson Cano steps up to the plate. Probably the last guy Estarda wanted to see in that moment, for good reason, Cano roped a base knock off him, and put a crushing end to Estrada's hopes and dreams. I don't really care because Estrada is on the Blue Jays and I obviously hate them, but I do really want to see someone throw a no- hitter before the season ends. Rich Hill, Kyle Hendricks, Taijuan Walker, and now Marco Estrada have all failed to complete this task in the month of September, but they've been awfully close. Rich Hill got screwed over by his manager so he technically didn't even blow the perfect game he had going, maybe he would've been the one to do it if Dave Roberts wasn't an asshole. Someone will get one before seasons end, if not, Jake Arrieta, will have thrown the only no-hitter this year, the Cubs have done enough winning this year, let's not give them this too.
