7/31/2016 Lawler gets dropped in the 1st, becomes 7th UFC champ to lose their strap this yearRead NowRobbie Lawler's title reign came to a crushing end last night at UFC201, when Tyron Woodley knocked him out with a clean right hand halfway through the first round. Robbie's battles and wars over the years may have caught up to him and his chin may not be what it once was, but I'm not counting him out just yet. Woodley is in no way shape or form a fighter that I like, and after his post fight press conference I have even less respect. He calls out 2 fighters who haven't fought in 2 years, Nick Diaz & GSP, while there is a very deserving #1 contender in Wonderboy waiting patiently for his title shot. Woodley said after the fight, " I don't care about the rankings, I want big money fights." No respect for that. This isn't boxing for a reason, the UFC gives the fighters who deserve their shots, their shots, you can't pick and choose and dodge fights like Floyd in boxing. Wonderboy is perhaps the most dangerous fighter in the entire UFC, and has dominated everyone he was faced at 170. A karate world champion, he has taken the MMA world by storm over these past few years. If Dana gives this next welterweight title fight to anyone but Stephen Thompson, there will be serious backlash from the fans and fighters. I don't think Dana would make a mistake like that.

The New Era has officially begun in World Wrestling entertainment and so far, so good. After last weeks lackluster draft which did not live up to its original hype, the McMahons came out guns a-blazing these last two nights. Battleground was this past Sunday which set up the nights perfectly. Not only were some faded out feuds finally put to bed, but already titles have switched, challengers have emerged, and excitement HAS COME BACK for the first time since i was 12. Dean Ambrose brought the WWE title with him to to Shane Mcmahon and GM Daniel Bryan after a huge win over Roman Reigns (pinned) and Seth Rollins. With no major title on the red brand, Stephanie and new appointed General Manager Mick Foley decided to add their own one called the WWE Universal belt. Now two things; one: the GM's picked for both brands were absolutely gold these guys are legends. Two: who the actual fuck made that belt name?! Please fire them immediately, that is asking for viewers to think your show is a joke and i really cant take it seriously, but whatever lets go on.
It was announced that his cheesy belt will be up for grabs at SummerSlam, with Seth Rollins the #1 overall draft pick fighting the winner of Raws main event. This is where the things actually get cool for the first time in years. There were two fatal four way matches during the night, with the winners of said matches going on to fight in the main event to see who would challenge Rollins. Now before i go on, i had never seen Finn Balor wrestle before, but that man is a straight savage i see him being the next face of the company. In his debut match, he foght off the likes of fellow up and comers: Cesaro, KO, and U.S champ Rusev in a great match that ended with his signature finisher of jumping off the top rope right on top of someones stomach standing straight up. When i saw him perform the "Coup de Grace" as they call it and pin Rusev my fucking jaw dropped since i really thought KO would win. In the more obvious fatal four way match, Roman Reigns defeated Sheamus, Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn with Reigns emerging victorious. After this i was dissapointed because i really thought WWE management would make the basic mistake to make Rollins v. Regins round 1000 but surprisingly i was wrong. Finn Balor won his main event fair and square not only proving his legitimacy as a competitor to stay, but that he is hungry and coming for Rollins. Aside the cool set up of the night, i would have to say best moment of the night was Sasha Banks pulling her best Eddie Guerrero impression and getting Charlotte's little lackey disqualfied and going on to beat the Nature girl for the Womens Championship, good for her. Raw was very good, but i think Smackdown might have just outdid it. The entire feel of Smackdown just felt rejuvenated, no longer feeling like a second hand show right off the bat.To start off the announce team over at Smackdown is much more entertaining, JBL knows how to somehow say the most ridicluous thing and crack me up and Mauro Ranallo could be the next JR with his funny catchphrases. With Dean bringing the gold back, a challenger was needed, so Shane and Daniel decided there would be a six-pack challenge main event for who would go on to fight Ambrose. Five competitors were decided on the spot which were John Cena, Aj Styles, Dolph Ziggler, Bray Wyatt and Baron Corbin with the sixth fighter being decided by a battle royal. I thought this idea was cool since not only did it feature the main guys of the roster, but it gave a random a chance to rise to the occasion and have a chance of a lifetime. The victor of the battle royal was Apollo Crews a youngster, i liked the choice this guy is real talented and it shows the management is not sleeping on his talent. Before the main event, two returning superstars made their way back into our lives. First, it was announced that the Gold Standard himself, Shelton Benjamin would be returning to Smackdown; aint no stopping him no! Second was the beast Ryhno, who desecrated poor brandless Health Slater who was just trying to make his voice heard for once No one ever has cared about the one man band, so it was nice to see a vet come out in such a hilarious and memorable fashion. The night was also filled with Randy Orton violating and Rko'ing the Miz which is always a beautiful sight because i cannot stand that guy and i have no clue why he is booked as champion. He might be good on the mic as being the bad guy, but his wrestling is sub par and i do not see how he is benefiting the company since there are plenty of other options. Once the main event came around i was pumped, i had no clue who was going to win and it was fulled with nonstop action (no pun intended). My prediction was Bray Wyatt would win since he has not gotten a real shot at gold in a while, but WWE management did a complete 360 with their choice. "The Showoff" Dolph Ziggler became the #1 contender after pinning Aj Styles. Cannot lie, never saw it coming, and that is the stuff i love too see. Creativity is a beautiful thing when it is done correctly, and i think a fued between these two hard workers can be something memorable for the first months of the new Smackdown. The USADA has handed down a 2 year suspension to Chad Mendes for his failed doping test after he tested positive for GHRP-6 growth hormone. The suspension will date back to his June failed test so it will be two years from then, but this is not good news for Chad. As the featherweight division is heating up with the Jose & Conor rematch on the horizon and Frankie still looking like he has juice in him, and young star Holloway on an 8 fight win streak, this does not look good for Chad. Two years is a long time for fighters to be away from live action, but based off Chad's Instagram posts of him "shadow boxing" out at sea, since Chad is an avid outdoorsman, he seems to be taking the news positively and with an open mind. Makes you wonder how long or if any fights before now Chad has been juiced up. He has struggled lately since he was TKO'ed by Conor just over a year ago, and will now have all the time he needs to reflect on those struggles and polish his game.
- Muk Let’s take a look at what the use of estrogen-blockers mean, and what the effects are. Estrogen-blockers are by themselves, not a performance enhancing drug, but they are a very popular supplement, because they are useful as “post-cycle therapy”. What’s a cylce? A cycle refers to a cycle of steroids, or other prohormone agents. These cycles increase your testosterone levels, but in healthy males, often increase their estrogen levels. While the boy does require a certain amount of estrogen to function properly, too much estrogen in a male will have undesirable side effects. So, for these reasons, most cycles of steroids or PEDs are accompanied by and followed with compounds designed to reduce estrogen. There is also a belief among some PED users that lowering estrogen levels also triggers the body to naturally increase testosterone production, which would be useful because after a cycle is complete testosterone levels deplete and don’t immediately recover. Chael Sonnen, UFC vet and now analyst, sat down with UFC commentator/stoner/podcast extraordinar Joe Rogan, to discuss the use of PEDs and estrogen-blockers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAnLPKGbytU ------> at about 30 minutes Chael explains The most troubling part for me about the positive test results are the timing by the USADA, how did it take them over a month to see Jon’s test was positive and announce it just 48 hours before the 200 card, and Brock who was tested every week before the fight, was able to fight while still failing the test for the night of the card? Personally I think the USADA has far more technological power than that, and can get these results back much sooner than a month, so cards can be saved, and fighters can stay safe. by DjackLast night I tuned into the WBC heavyweight championship fight between Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder and Chris “Love Handles” Arreola. The fight itself was not very competitive but it was very entertaining to say the least. Wilder, pounded Arreola’s face in with left jab after left jab for about 95% of the fight until Arreola looked like a Boston terrier. The impressive part about the fight was Wilders right hand is broken and he has a torn right bicep, the fact he could compete let alone destroy a man with one hand basically just shows how much talent this guy has. Arreola is nobody I know that, the guy Wilder was originally supposed to fight pulled a Jon Jones and failed a drug test. Hopefully they can get the fight we all want to see Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury and finally unify the heavyweight championship. If this fight happens it will really start bringing back excitement to the heavyweight division. Until then, the sweet science will continue to be irrelevant.
With the WWE Brand Split only a few short days away, i have created my own mock draft of the first ten rounds. I had Stephanie McMahon and Raw go first because she is a spoiled bitch and will somehow find a way to get her hands on the first overall. Any talent is allowed to be drafted (including tag teams) which will lead to a night full of surprises and hopefully a new vibe of the whole program.Bob's Bold Predictions for July 19th Brand Split:
