JR Smith was suspended one game for conduct detrimental to the team. Turns out that the detrimental conduct to the team was him throwing soup at assistant coach Damon Jones. Damon Jones, is a former player for the Cavs back when Lebron had his first stint in Cleveland. He's there now as a shooting coach. My guess as to what happened is that Damon Jones was telling JR to stop sucking ass and JR threw his soup at him. Was it hot soup or was it like a gazpacho. The difference in the temperature of the soup makes all the difference in this situation.

JR Smith has been terrible this season. His offense is declining, he's shooting under 40% from the field, and his 3pt % is 36%. As if that isn't bad enough, his defense is actually so bad that he's a detriment to the team when he's playing. Maybe, Ty Lue asked Jones to piss off Smith so he could suspend him, although it would've been for more than one game if that was the case. Anyways, this is a hilarious story. JR Smith out here throwing soup at coaches is peak JR, which we haven't seen for quite sometime.

All I know is JR Smith won't be allowed to have soup on his person anymore. No soup for you JR. The perfect transition into showing you an all time Seinfeld scene that is totally relatable to what is going on in the Cavs cafeteria at this moment.
