As many of you already know, Chyna Thomas, the younger sister of Isaiah Thomas, passed away the day before the playoffs started in a tragic car accident. Well, it looked like tragedy was going to effect the Celtics chases in playoff since IT didn't seem to be himself the first two games back, but boy has this fueled him to be a whole new player. Last night, Isaiah Thomas was able to outperform star point guard John Wall, who dropped 40 points, by scoring 53 points himself. The Celtics looked like they were no longer in the drivers seat going  back to Washington with the series tied up. IT4 had other plans though.

Thomas completely took over the game offensively, it seemed like he couldn't miss, and no matter how well contested his shots were he'd still get them to fall. He hit this off balance double clutch shot over a defender while falling to the ground over and that's when I knew this was going to be a special night. Wall and Beal bailed out the Celtics when they missed two shots at the end of the game that could've won the game for the Wizards in regulation. The Celtics played much better defense in the second half, which was the reason they were able to fight their way back into this game to begin with.

After Isaiah took over in the 4th quarter and in OT showing the world that no one can guard him and that he really is pound for pound the best offensive player in the NBA, he dedicated the game to his late sister Chyna. It would've been Chyna's 23rd birthday last night Isaiah said, so he did it for her and he did it because of her. She was watching over, helping guide those shots into the basket all night long as we got to witness one of those magical performances that'll live on forever. Isaiah is a 5'9" giant, his size physically doesn't matter because his heart is the size of a 100 lions, and no one can take that away from him. I hate everything Boston, except Isaiah Thomas. A true talent, a true inspiration, and most importantly a true role model, which is almost impossible to find in sports these days.
