Golden State's Big Four gets Outplayed by the Spurs

All the hype, all the expectations, and the Warriors get shamed on opening night at home against their biggest foe in the western conference. The Spurs beat "the greatest starting lineup ever assembled" by 29 points tonight. Not only did the Spurs beat them, they exposed a ton of the Warriors new flaws that come with their new lineup, what a nice thing for the genius Coach Popovich to do for the rest of the league this early in the season. Normally I'd say no reason to panic for the Warriors, going to be some growing pains, team chemistry needs to develop, but that's not even it, this team actually has some serious holes. Now, obviously the Warriors will still be a great team, they'll prey on the weak teams picking up easy wins, but when it comes time to play the big guns of the association they're going to have some serious problems. This team does not have anything close to the bench they had last season, the bench couldn't buy a basket tonight, and they have no rim protectors with Mo Speights, Festus Ezeli, and Andrew Bogut all gone. The Spurs were driving to the basket with ease all night basically, doing whatever they wanted offensively because the Warriors had no answer, and they were getting plenty of second chance oppurtunities since the Spurs were  crashing the offensive glass with regularity. The Spurs even beat the Warriors at their own game making 5 more 3 pointers than them while shooting 30% higher,  just goes to show how ineffective this Warriors offense is when the 3 ball isn't falling, luckily for them it usually falls, but they're going to have the nights like tonight where they go 7-33, and get run out of the building. That's what happens when you live and die by the three ball. Spurs looked better than ever, Warriors looked like a hot mess, and the NBA season is off to a fantastic start. I'm looking forward to paying close attention to the Warriors this season preying on their every failure, laughing at their every defeat, ultimately waiting for them to fall short once again of their NBA championship dreams just so I can laugh at KD for being such a spineless coward that still can't win a championship, even with three other superstars.
