By DjackNo surprise here, Brandon Ingram will start his NBA career coming off the bench for the Lakers. I mean this decision was basically made when the Lakers signed Luol Deng to a 4yr/$72 million contract this offseason, yeah, that's not a typo if you were wondering, the Lakers are just that stupid with money that they gave washed up Luol Deng 72 million. Do I like this decision by the Lakers to have Ingram come off the bench? Not really, this kid has probably started every game he's been in since he was six years old, so he probably does his best work in the starting lineup, but it'll be nice to ease him, and he won't have as much pressure on him since he won't be a starter. All that pressure will be on D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and Julius Randle who all have to start proving that they can win together and that last year was just ruined by the Kobe retirement tour. I'm not expecting to be even close to making the playoffs, that would just be a ridiculous expectation, but I do expect us to win 30+ games. Ingram will hopefully find his way into the starting role as the small forward at some point this season because that'll mean he's playing like they stud we all know he will be. Ingram has huge shoes to fill taking Kobe's locker and roster spot, I mean he's built just like KD, drafted the same pick as KD, and plays just like KD, so I'm pretty sure we just got the less cowardly version of KD. I'm fine with that, give these youngsters a few years and you're looking at the new and improved version of what Golden State has going on right now. The Showtime Lakers are making a comeback, this time they'll be know as the LakeShow 2.0. For all you fake ass Warriors fans, join the Laker bandwagon now because when we take back the state of California in a few years, we don't want you crawling back to us.
