Winners of the 2017 NFL Draft

Houston Texans are the big winners of the 2017 NFL Draft for one reason, they landed a big time quarterback. All the Texans needed to take their team to the next level was a competent QB and they got much more than that with Watson. Now, this team is clearly the class of the AFC South and in a couple years could be the powerhouse of the AFC if Brady ever retires. People are saying Watson is not going to start right away, I on the other hand gurantee Deshaun Watson is starting week 1 for the Houston Texans. This kid is the real deal and all the GM's that passed on him and needed a QB won't have jobs in a couple years.

The San Francisco 49ers are the consensus pick for winner of the NFL Draft. They got a stud defensive lineman at #3 overall while trading down one spot acquiring more picks and still getting who they orginally wanted. Great job by John Lynch, probably was more of a bad job by the Chicago Bears making that deal, but whatever John Lynch gets the credit. They also traded back into the end of the first round to grab Rueben Foster who is easily the best linebacker in this draft class. They got two future star defensive players that are going to be the foundation of their defense. Joe Williams, the RB from Utah, was a steal in the 4th round, so they have three potential starters for this season out of this draft class.

The Jets are winners in this draft solely because they didn't fuck it up like they always do. They drafted Jamal Adams arguably the best player in the entire draft. Safe pick and smart pick by them with their first round selection. They drafted another safety in the second round telling everyone that Calvin Pryor's days as a Jet are numbered. The Jets deep pass defense was garbage and now that's been addressed, so that's a solid job done addressing that need immediately. They also added more young wide receivers and a tight end hoping to get some weapons for whoever their future QB is down the road. They didn't draft after QB that's going to suck and just stall the rebuilding process, so that's really why the Jets are winners after this weekend.
