By DjackLast night was a horrible night to be a Giants fan, they got absolutely manhandled on national television by the Minnesota Vikings. Coming into this game I was very optimistic, not because of what the Giants have showed me so far this season, but because were in the away whites for the first time this season. Many people might think that's a dumb theory, every true Giants fan knows we player better in our white uni's. Every true Giants fan also knows that Eli's kryptonite is the Minnesota Vikings, he is now 2-6 against them all time, and has 5 touchdowns to 15 interceptions against them as well. The game started out well for the Giants, we got the staring kickoff, Harris brought it back to 35 setting us up with good field position. The run game was without Vereen and Jennings and was still holding their own, and were able to pick up a few first downs. The drive was ultimately killed by penalties, same shit as last week we couldn't seem to get out of our own way. You would think after last week's 11 penalties Ben McAdoo would've made sure his team cleaned up the penalties so they wouldn't affect our chances against a very good team in the Vikings, well the Giants had 8 penalties again last night so that just goes to show how disciplined our team is. Xavier Rhodes of the Minnesota Vikings was able to shutdown Odell Beckham Jr., of course he had plenty of help from Harrison Smith how helped double team him all night, its still a very impressive feat to keep Odell under 30 yards receiving, actually it's never even happened before so kudos to you Mr.Rhodes. The Giants made sure that the Vikings pass rush wouldn't affect them because they got the ball out of Eli's hand in under 3 seconds all night long, only bad thing about that being the receivers didn't have any time to get open, and Eli was rushing everything throw forcing him to make erratic passes. I have no complaints about the defense whatsoever they've been better than I expected all year, we were missing more than half our secondary, so I can't blame them for not being at the top of their game. Trevin Wade proved to America that he should never have the opportunity to put on the pads again, this guy belongs in real estate or any other job besides football because all I saw was the back of his jersey for 60 minutes. Ben McAdoo is who I'm really here to criticize, this man is proving day after day that he is not ready to be the head coach of any NFL team. Let's start with how he can't keep Odell under control whatsoever, so early in last's game Odell began to throw one of his patented hissy fits, which he was flagged for, and on the next play he could've been throw out of the game after hitting someone when he was already out of bounds, McAdoo needs to give this kid a reality check. He can't though because he is weak, and can't control the players like Coughlin did. McAdoo's offense has become so much worse since taking over as head coach, we haven't scored over 30 points in a game yet this season, and we've failed to score over 20 twice. The offense was supposed to be our most lethal weapon, we supposedly have this amazing trio of wide receivers, but where are the results. Every game we have won is because of the defense, so as a Giants fan I'm asking Ben McAdoo where the hell is this explosive offense that was talked about all preseason. All I'm seeing is underneath garbage which doesn't work for the Giants, Eli is a throw the ball down the field kind of guy, why haven't we been utilizing that at all. We need some serious answers fast after this 24-10 beat down we got from the Vikings, it doesn't get any easier as we have to play Green Bay next week. If we can't bounce back this week it's going to be a long season for the Giants, one that hopefully leads to the firing of Ben McAdoo. I hope it doesn't come down to that though, so for the sake of your job McAdoo please start making this offense work.
