Favre & Harrison headline NFL HOF class, NFL cancels HOF game due to field conditions

It started off as a great weekend for the NFL, as one of the games greatest quarterbacks and the most lethal gunslinger in the games history was inducted into the HOF, along with several other greats, including Marvin Harrison.
Harrison was one of the games most dominant wideouts when he dominated defenses with Peyton Manning, a true nightmare on - and off the field. We've all heard the rumors about Marvins gang ties and his apparent shooting of a vehicle outside a bar, again, rumors. But it's still a story I love to hear because Marvin has always come across as a quiet, soft spoken superstar.
Last nights game, between Harrison's Colts & Favre's Packers was cancelled about 2 hours before game time, due to inadequate field conditions. In other words, the NFL fucked up. Does anyone actually care about the HOF game? Absolutely not. But I do love seeing Roger Goodell blow it and the NFL season delayed a week longer. The preseason is a joke for almost every quarter of every game, but everyone does like to get a quick glimpse of their teams newly acquired or developed weapons. This game being cancelled however, in the grand scheme of the NFL season, is nothing more than an embarrassing mishap.
