By UppyFollowing his arrest on Tuesday for possession of marijuana and a handgun after being pulled over for speeding, wide receiver Josh Huff has been released by the Eagles. I gotta say this is a little bit surprising to me. I feel like we haven't gotten a lot of details about this incident, but this still feels like the right move for the Birds. Huff is really only good for being fast as he has had problems with drops and just getting targets in general. When asked about the incident, Josh Huff told reporters "what professional athlete don't have a gun?" which is probably true but BRUH. That is not your line in this moment of your life right now. Instead of being apologetic and owning up to your mistake, you come out trying to sound like the victim. Josh Huff acting like people are always trying to rob him and he needs protection. I am an Eagles FAN (in case you didn't know) and if Josh Huff walked up to me on the street I wouldn't know it was him. So who the FUCK is out to rob Josh Huff to the point where he thinks he needs a gun. Looking at this from an organizational standpoint its smart for the Eagles to distance themselves from controversy, but the fact that an NFL player is gonna lose his job for weed and a gun is so dumb. Don't you have guys in your entourage who carry the guns and drugs for you so this shit doesn't happen?? Didn't Cris Carter tell you to always have a fall guy?!
