by BobWell what do you know, another suspect trade by the Eagles. This morning, the Tennessee Titans traded 2nd year receiver Dorial Green-Beckham in return for offensive lineman Dennis Kelly. Now don't get me wrong, DGB still has a lot of potential in this league, with a 6'5 frame and Megatron comparisons who knows what his ceiling could really be. Although he may have the talent, he unfortunately does not have the work ethic to make himself great. Titans camp reported he had shown up to camp overweight and had even been demoted to second team, I don't think that's ever happened to Calvin Johnson. In return for this question mark of a player, the Titans have earned a Versatile lineman who has already proved he can play multiple positions. At only 26, he is still young enough to make a big impact protecting a young gun in Marcus Mariota. The Titans are set to have an interesting year. With a surprinsgly strong defense last year and a questionable offense it will be fun to see how they play in the second year with Mariota. This trade can end up being crucial, with the biggest threats for receivers being tight end Delanie Walker and WR Rishard Matthews who played for Miami last season. As for the Eagles, wide reciever is their weakest position. That does not mean much when your on a garbage team such as the Eagles, but if Beckham can turn his work ethic around this could maybe be the first good thing to happen to Philadelphia since the Phillies won the World Series.
