By Djack10 Wisconsin vs Iowa: Iowa was supposed to be a college football playoff contender this year, unfortunately for them North Dakota State put an early end to that hope when they beat them week 3. Iowa has since then proven just why they got beat by an division 1-A team, they've looked like a mere shell of themselves. Now, I didn't think they were that good of a team to begin with, but they had what looked like an easy schedule coming into the season, so winning 10 games seemed very achievable for them. Wisconsin was the opposite coming into the season, the expectation weren't high whatsoever, and I don't think anyone saw them becoming this great of a team. This defense they have is easily one of the best in college football, if they can get that quarterback position right in the near future this team can be a real threat in the BIG 10. Wisconsin dominated this game, the score was within one possession, but the game itself was never in question. The Iowa offense couldn't do anything against the Wisconsin defense, Iowa only had 236 total yards of offense compared to Wisconsin's 423. Wisconsin also dominated time of possession in this game controlling the ball for about 38 minutes. Good win by Wisconsin as they continue to prove to everyone that they're the real deal. 6 Texas A&M vs 1 Alabama: Another matchup in which Alabama was supposed to be tested, but instead Alabama just got a chance to prove how dominant they are once again. Texas A&M was flying high after a huge win against Tennessee in double overtime last week and that same fire would carry over into the first half of this game. A&M went into halftime feeling good about themselves, they were down by 6, and had been able to hang with Bama. A quick score to start the second half gave the Aggies a 14-13 lead over Bama, it looked like Bama might've finally met a team that can give them a run for their money. Alabama would score to take the lead back and they wouldn't look back, burying the Aggies showing just why they are the most elite team in college football. The Crimson Tide would go on to win 33-14 as the Aggies suffer their first loss of the season. 16 Oklahoma vs Texas Tech: Oklahoma has showed us time and time again this season that they have absolutely no defense, but that it doesn't seem to matter half the time because their offense can outscore the opponent most of the time. That was the case last night during this game, Texas Tech threw the football 88 times, yes that isn't a typo they threw the ball 88 times. I know it's ridiculous, that's why I hate college football because you'll almost never get a game where both teams can play all three phases of the game well. Oklahoma basically had the lead throughout the entire game except for like two minutes in the second quarter, but most of the time it was Oklahoma extending their lead, and Texas Tech following that up with a score to make it a one possession game again. Both teams had 854 yards of total offense, absolutely crazy, 1,708 yards of total offense in this game, I think my math is right. Baker Mayfield threw for 545 yards on 36 attempts, and he had 7 passing touchdowns to set a school record. His counterpart Patrick Mahomes, threw for a whooping 734 yards on 88 pass attempts, clearly showing that Mayfield is the better quarterback doing basically as much in a third of the attempts. Oklahoma would go on to win 66-59 in a game where no defense was played. 23 Ole Miss vs 25 LSU: LSU is now 3-0 under interim Head Coach Orgeron, I don't know what he is preaching to those boys in the locker room, but it's certainly working. They've been dominating the line of scrimmage, being able to rush for 300 yards per game over the course of his 3 games as head coach. Ole Miss on the other hand has now suffered their 3 loss in just 5 weeks, a season with high expectations results in a typical Ole Miss season. Leonard Fournette, who made his first start under Coach Orgeron because of injury, went absolutely berserk. I mean this guy is actually a battling ram running down the field, he makes the wimpy defensive backs look like children as he lowers his shoulder into them and drives them straight through the ground. All I know is whatever NFL team gets blessed with this savage has a grown ass man who is the most complete back I've seen since Ladainian Tomlinson. Fournette finished the game with 16 carries for 284 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Absolute beast mode on the way to beating Ole Miss 38-21. LSU will get a real test when they play Alabama in two weeks, could they be the team to bring down Goliath or will they just become another victim on the Bama hit list. 2 Ohio State vs Penn State:
Unfortunately, the Buckeyes got upset by the Penn State Pedophiles last night. Yes, I'm just sour so I'm stirring up trouble bringing up Penn State's past, but honestly I'm not wasting my time going through this game. Buckeyes played like shit and laid a complete egg, it happens, especially with a very young team on the road. I could sit here and make all kinds of excuses for my Buckeyes losing, but I won't because this loss won't define our season. When we kick Michigan's ass in a few week's no one will remember us losing to Penn State and we'll be right back into the college football playoff conversation, so ultimately this loss means nothing. Obviously I'm upset that we will no longer go unbeaten and face Michigan as an unbeaten, but it'll be that much sweeter kicking Michigan's ass since all their fans are talking mad shit. Enjoy your fun now Harbaugh because Urban Meyers is mad and he's going to be talking out on the Maize and Blue.
