By Bob..Early this morning, third year tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was arrested for driving under the influence. I feel like within the past few years getting in trouble with the authorities has become a common trend for national football league players. According to Tampa Bay Times writers Greg Auman and Rick Stroud, the young gun was taken in by Florida Highway Patrol and was not released until a few hours ago. This is not his first run in with drinking and driving. While attending college at the University of Washington in 2014 he received a DUI and was sentenced to almost a full year in jail. Somehow out of the 364 he was given the guy only had to spend one full night in jail. I am not sure if that is because he was pro football bound, but most of the time that would never happen in a regular DUI situation. As a second time offender this could be grave news for a guy who is a vital part of a young offense. He may have missed 16 games because of injury but in his time he has put up pretty good numbers for a tight end with 42 catches for 559 yards and six touchdowns. For those of you who own this guy in fantasy football i would be weary, if I am Dirk Koetter (Bucs head coach) I am disciplining this man until he at least gets court done with. You hate to see these young talents taint their careers like this, but sadly that is just a part of how the world works.
