By DjackThe Bills pull off the biggest upset of the day so far as they take down the undefeated Patriots. The Patriots were forced to use their 3rd string quarterback, but that didn't seem to hold them back whatsoever when they were blowing the Texans out last week. This was a game in which each teams offense played at opposite ends of the spectrum, the Bills offense had long scoring drives in the first half, meanwhile the Pats didn't have a drive over 4 plays in the first half. The game opened up with the Patriots getting the ball and going 3 and out. The Bills follow that up with a 12 play touchdown drive. The Patriots got the ball back went 3 and out again, the Bills followed that up with a 10 play drive that ended with a field goal. Rex Ryan did a good job of making sure LeGarrette Blount couldn't get anything going early. His offense did a good job of getting ahead early so the Patriots were forced to pass to try to catch up. I don't think Rex Ryan is a good head coach, but he certainly does a good job of getting Bill Belichick to work outside of his game plan. Bill has had his success against Rex Ryan coached teams, but Rex has been able to beat Belichick a couple times with the Jets, and now today with the Bills. He didn't just beat Belichick, he shut his offense down completely, not many coaches can say they've ever done that. The Patriots defense did a really good job of not letting the Bills get into the endzone, that wasn't enough though since the offense couldn't score any points. Tyrod Taylor looked like a quarterback that deserved the big contract he got at the beginning of this season, if he could play like this consistently the Buffalo Bills definitley have a solid quarterback for the next 5 years. That's Tyrod's problem though, he just can't seem to play like this game in and game out, too bad the most important characteristic of any player is consistency, not going to win many games if your not playing at the highest level possible every game. Bills have fought their way back to 2-2 after an 0-2 start, I don't know if I'm going to consider them anything serious yet, this could just be a strong push by the Bills because they were in desperation mode, if that's the case they'll be back to their losing ways soon enough. The Patriots go 3-1 without Tom Brady so they're definitley content with their start to the season. With Brady coming back next week the Patriots should be basically unbeatable for the rest of the season, so nice job by the Bills to steal a win against the evil empire while they can because from week 5 on, Brady and Belichick are going to slaughter the NFL.
