By BobAnother basketball legend is set to retire. Paul Pierce aka "The Truth" announced via the Players Tribune that the 2016-2017 season will be his last. The forward stated regarding his 19th season being his final one writing "It’s time to move on from the game of basketball. Just like any difficult decision, I think you’ve got to be at peace with yourself. I’m at peace with retiring, but I’ve got one more ride left. One more season. One more opportunity." This man had had a storied and decorated career, and while most of his legend will always live on in Boston he has played pivotal role on several other teams including the Nets, Wizards and now the Clips. Even though he does not have a huge part in the Clippers now and will most likely ride the pine, he still can shoot the lights out like he has the past 18 seasons. Some accolades of Pieces' include being a ten time all-star, 2008 NBA champ and Finals MVP. Not to mention, Paul was the definition of clutch and was somebody everyone trusted taking the final shot of the game. Some of the best basketball I have ever watched came from the play of the Celtics Big 3, and I would always get so hyped for their rivalry against Kobe and the Lakers. Its hard to belive how fast time has gone with all these legends retiring but that is just a part of the game. The Truth has one last journey left to give, and it would be a great sight to see if the Clippers could get over the hump and finally hoist a championship for Los Angles. For old times sake, here are ten of his most clutch shots to get us ready for the NBA season, enjoy....
