By MukOn Tuesday, a poll was released by NBA.com, which was a poll of all 38 first-year players, and the common theme among their voting: Kris Dunn. Now I don't wanna say I told you so just yet, but I told you so. I blogged over a month ago, that Minnesota was on the rise, and fast, and Kris was going to make an immediate impact (http://www.highlycontroversialsports.com/basketball/a-minnesota-winter-is-coming). Kris was voted most likely to win ROY by his peers, and was also voted as the best defender and best playmaker. In a class that is not deep in talent, but really loaded in the front end of the draft with some huge names and huge potential NBA superstars, Dunn is emerging as one of the best, and one of the best suited. Coming into probably the best team situation as any player in the top 10, the Wolves are a great fit for Kris, where he will mesh with his fellow young stars creating a team that I believe will give the Western Conference trouble for years to come. Kris has big time playmaking ability, can shoot from the outside well, and is a strong defender. He seems, at the moment, to be the player from the 2016 class who is NBA ready, and looked so very impressive in summer league before his concussion. Kris will be the starter at the point by the All-Star break, seeing big minutes at the point and SG before then, and he will finish with 12 points a game, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds a game, and will come up big in the clutch, and will bring the third straight ROY to Minnesota, where we all #TrustInThibs Kris's summer league highlights are worth the watch right here: More importantly, if you don't know the story of Kris Dunn, then you must watch his SC Featured, the kid has come a long way and has earned everything he's got
