By DjackThe last thing I was going to watch last night was the Yankee game. We had an emotional Marlins game on, Monday night football, and the Presidential debate so there was no need for me to watch a pointless regular season Yankee game. It turned out to be a very a chaotic game as the benches cleared twice, this game early on became a battle of the unwritten rules of baseball. Luis Severrino barely hit Josh Donaldson early in the game on his elbow pad, clearly unintentional. The next inning J.A. Happ throws behind Chase Headley, so okay he had his retaliation chance it's over now, wrong with the next pitch he made sure he hit him, this cleared the benches but it didn't escalate to anything. Severrino was back on the mound and he started throwing at a Blue Jays batter missing him with the first pitch and getting him with the second. This set off a ticking time bomb, both benches ran out and things got ugly fast. Punches were thrown, players and coaches were ejected, and former Yankee Russell Martin was trying to tussle with Gary Sanchez. When I saw that I laughed, Russell Martin is first off just still sour we kicked him to the curb, second off Sanchez is double this dwarf's size so Martin was clearly picking a bad fight. I would've loved to see the AL ROY get a KO on live TV to add to his ROY resume. The Yankees have no shot of making the playoffs but at least they're still giving us great entertainment to watch, they just picked a really bad night to put on such an electric performance. Oh yeah, we also ended up winning that game so nice job Blue Jays, you let us get in your head and now your wild card hopes took a painful blow because of it.
