By DjackThe Mets will their selves to victory last night over the Phillies in 'Amazin' comeback fashion. After a devastating loss the day before against the Braves where Yoenis Cespedes was robbed of a walkoff homerun, the Mets make sure the ball had no chance of being robbed tonight. Things were not looking good for the Mets at all last night, they were down two runs and it was the bottom of the ninth, it looked like their fourth straight loss was inevitable. Jose Reyes had different plans though, he crushed a homerun to send the game into extra innings to give the Mets some new life. Familia came in to try and hold the tie, he blew it, no surprise there, he's been awful lately. So now the Mets are down 8-6 and their chances at winning this game look bleak once again until Asdrubal Cabrera came to the plate. With two men on and one out in the bottom of the 11th Asdrubal got a hanging breaking ball over the middle of the plate, he blasted a 3 run walkoff homerun, and he pimped it like no other. He just flung the bat up as soon as he crushed it and lifted his hands up high as he saved the Mets season. Jose Reyes and Asdrubal Cabrera haven't just saved the Mets on the field lately, off the field in the dugout these two are electric characters that keep the team loose. I love watching Reyes and Cabrera do their crazy antics after big plays, such quality guys to have in the clubhouse. The Mets are still in the wildcard spot and they have an easy enough schedule that it shouldn't be a problem staying there. Let's Go Mets.
