By DjackHuge news for San Francisco Giants fans, Madison Bumgarner's wingman Johnny Cueto will return just in time to save the Giants season. Currently, the Giants are fighting for wildcard spots with the Mets and Cardinals, they're currently a game ahead of the Cardinals for the second wildcard spot, and a half game behind the Mets for the top wildcard spot. Cueto will only get to pitch one more game during the regular season, but him being able to come back is really going to boost the Giants chances at winning in the NLDS, NLCS, and World Series if they are to make it past the wildcard game which Madison Bumgarner will probably pitch. Cueto helped the Kansas City Royals win a world series title last year as he was one of the only effective starting pitchers in that rotation, he had several games against the Astros and Mets last postseason where he was completely dominate. He did have an awful start against the Blue Jays, but against that lineup, c'mon cut him some slack, Cueto is 17-5 this year with a 2.75 ERA, if the NL didn't have so many good pitchers I'd say he has Cy Young type numbers, and he's not even the ace, Bumgarner is. Imagine that one two punch in a 5 or 7 game series where you have to face each of them multiple times, I feel bad for whatever team has to do that because their odds are not looking good. Cueto coming back makes the Giants a real threat if they can make it through all this wildcard shenanigans.
